Our new Executive Director, Mr. Kim Sandelin, began his office on June 7 (Monday). His skills and passion for the ministry of Love In the Name of Christ in general, and for Kalamazoo County specifically, have already blessed our ministry.

New training for intake volunteers take place at any time with Sally Butcher, our Clearinghouse Coordinator. If you have a heart for serving disadvantaged persons with the love of Christ, please contact Sally at extension 101 or email us. You must be able sign that you agree with the Apostles' Creed.

We are also blessed by having Joan Brussee as our Volunteer Director for which she is volunteering her time and expertise. We are offering training and work opportunities for volunteers in reception, intake work over the telephone, office clerical work, technical contribution such as telephone system monitoring and web design (yes, this site!), local area networking, Microsoft Office skills, data entry, promotion work in mailing and emailing campaigns; and, a variety of specific tasks to be completed in one or two sessions. Volunteers work in three hour sessions from 9 AM - noon and noon till 3 PM. Call and ask for Joan.
